This fall, Midwest natives Logan Readnour and Casey Hooker join the Solomon Lab as graduate students for the 2016 academic year. They will be working on a number of projects to engineer microbial communities for enhanced oil recovery, to develop new responsive transcriptional regulators, and to enhance nutrient utilization by anaerobic communities. Logan was also honored with an Andrews fellowship! Congrats!
